Liubystok – The Children’s Choir of the Ukrainian Cultural Centre.

The Ukrainian Children’s Choir was established at the Ukrainian Cultural Centre in 2023. 

Thanks to grants received from the Shevchenko Foundation and the Ukrainian-Canadian Cultural Society of Vancouver Island, this choir continues to reach new heights, sharing their love for Ukrainian songs with the audience of numerous Ukrainian cultural events and festivals.

Ukrainian-Canadian Cultural Society of Vancouver Island

Located in the territories of the W̱SÁNEĆ and Lək̓ʷəŋən peoples. The Lək̓ʷəŋən are represented today by the Songhees and Esquimalt Nations, and the W̱SÁNEĆ peoples include the W̱JOȽEȽP (Tsartlip), SȾÁUTW̱ (Tsawout), BOḰEĆEN (Pauquachin), W̱SIḴEM (Tseycum), and MÁLEXEȽ (Malahat) Nations.
