Liubystok – The Children’s Choir of the Ukrainian Cultural Centre.

Join the Liubystok Children’s Choir!

The Liubystok Children’s Choir at the Ukrainian Cultural Centre in Victoria is welcoming new members for the 2026–2027 school year!

We welcome children ages 6–15 who love to sing and would like to discover and celebrate Ukrainian musical traditions.

No previous singing experience is required — just a love of music and a desire to sing!

What we do:
• Sing Ukrainian folk and contemporary songs
• Rehearse once a week
• Perform at concerts and community events across Vancouver Island

Choir Director: Yanina Bueckert

Join our choir family and let’s keep Ukrainian music and traditions alive together!

The Ukrainian Children’s Choir was established at the Ukrainian Cultural Centre in 2023.

Thanks to grants received from the Shevchenko Foundation and the Ukrainian-Canadian Cultural Society of Vancouver Island, this choir continues to reach new heights, sharing their love for Ukrainian songs with the audience of numerous Ukrainian cultural events and festivals.
