With a master’s degree from the Odesa National Music Academy, she skillfully blends traditional Ukrainian music with contemporary styles such as jazz, folk, tango, and popular covers, showcasing the versatility of the bandura.
Special guest Georgiy Matviyiv, an award-winning musician and innovator in bandura techniques, will also join the concert. Having performed in over 15 countries, his original compositions and innovative approach will make the evening even more exciting.
Additionally, the Kalyna Ukrainian Choir, embodying the spirit of the Ukrainian community in Canada, will perform under the direction of Lina Streltsov. Their vibrant and emotional voices will highlight the diversity of Ukrainian music.
