Kalyna Choir participated in the opening ceremonies of the 37th annual World Partnership Walk (WPW) organized by the Aga Khan Foundation, Canada. The event took place on the University of Victoria campus.
Located in the territories of the W̱SÁNEĆ and Lək̓ʷəŋən peoples. The Lək̓ʷəŋən are represented today by the Songhees and Esquimalt Nations, and the W̱SÁNEĆ peoples include the W̱JOȽEȽP (Tsartlip), SȾÁUTW̱ (Tsawout), BOḰEĆEN (Pauquachin), W̱SIḴEM (Tseycum), and MÁLEXEȽ (Malahat) Nations.
